Welcome to the Ribbon Skirt Workshop happening at the Belfry Theatre on Friday September 13th - Saturday September 14th 2024! Join us for a two day fun and creative event where you can learn how to make your own beautiful ribbon skirt. This hands-on workshop will teach you the traditional art of ribbon skirt making, a staple in the Indigenous culture.This workshop is open to all skill levels of sewing, no past experience is required as you will be led by expert Ribbon Skirt makers who will be facilitating this event. Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with your creativity and learn a new skill in a supportive and welcoming environment while connecting to the culture!
Supplies will be provided as well and lunch and refreshments!
