RIBA Stirling Stories: North 2024

Leeds Society of Architects (LSA) are thrilled to announce, that, after a 2-year hiatus, are bringing the hugely successful RIBA Stirling Stories: North event back to Leeds for 2024 for the third time, on Thursday 10th October 2024

This prestigious event will bring together and recognise the six very best buildings in the last year; which are shortlisted for the highest accolade in architecture, the RIBA Stirling Prize 2024.

• Wraxall Yard - Clementine Blakemore Architects

The RIBA Stirling Stories: North event offers a unique opportunity to get to know the real-life stories behind the creation of these fascinating schemes. The event will be the only chance to hear in person, from all the nominated practices about this year’s shortlisted projects outside of London, with The RIBA Stirling Prize Awards evening set to be held in London a week later.

The fun filled evening will once again be held at The Everyman Cinema, Leeds and will offer plenty of networking opportunities for those in attendance. On arrival to the venue there will be a food and drink reception, to help the conversations flow during the evening.

Everyone from across the built environment are welcome, tickets for the event are now available via this Eventbrite page, where Students and RIBA Members* can take advantage of a discounted rate.

*Valid and up to date RIBA Membership credentials required on booking.

Please note that filming/photography will be captured at this event and may be used for external marketing purposes.

Please bring your tickets with you, either printed off or electronically, these will be checked on entering the venue.

For those with accessible requirements on the evening, please may you reach to the team ahead of the evening ASAP, by replying to this email, so they can put the necessary steps in place ahead of your arrival. Please also arrive earlier than advertised, to allow the team the extra time in order to give you the additional attention you may require.
