We are opening the 2025 Rib Cookoff Association Europe season with a BANG and some awesome and fun packed categories!These are the options:
Single rib: prepare 1 set of ribs, you can choose between Baby Back ribs or Belly ribs
(2 ribs of Your choice will be provided by us),
Double Ribs: prepare 2 kinds of ribs, round 1 will be Baby Back ribs and round 2 Belly Ribs
(Ribs will be provided by us, 2 from each kind),
Anything Stew: Let Your imagination work and surprise the Judges with your best stew dish!
Timeline:
08:00 : Location open for teams to build up their space
09:30 : Cooks meeting including the ribs selection
13:00 : Judge meeting
14:00 > 14:30 : Turn in Ancillary “Anything Stew”
15:00 > 15:30 : Baby back ribs
16:00 > 16:30 : Belly ribs
17:30 : Awards

Ancillary “Anything Stew” rules
– turn in of a minimum of 5 individual portions in the provided turn in box
– size of the turn in box is 238x201x75mm (outside size)
– Everything must be edible. Only a potential serving vessel can be disposable like a cup or amuse spoon
– the STEW must be the star of the show!
PRO TIP: Think out of the box!!
Awards for each category, but the GC and RGC will be determined by the winner of the 2 rib categories together.
