Founded in 2023 by Germain Maniengi, Afroband243 brings together talented African artists from across the Midwest to share the infectious rhythms of Congolese Rhumba. Joined by PhDJ, this performance is a celebration of culture, community, and high-energy live music that will have the whole park dancing.

Parking: Available at the park (reserved for limited mobility) and across the street at the Johnson County Administration Building (913 South Dubuque Street). Biking: Very bike-friendly via the Iowa River Corridor, Hwy 6, and Hwy 1 trails.
