Rhythm & Roots 🌿

Rhythm & Roots is a joyful movement class where little ones are invited to explore the beauty of African dance through music, storytelling, and play.

Together, we'll move our bodies, build confidence, strengthen coordination, and celebrate the rich traditions that remind us movement has always been a way to express ourselves, connect with one another, and honor our ancestors.

This beginner-friendly class encourages children to follow their curiosity, embrace creativity, and experience the joy of moving in community. Through rhythm, imagination, and cultural exploration, we're planting seeds of confidence, connection, and belonging that will grow far beyond the dance floor.

Know before you go:

Dress your little ones in comfortable clothes they can easily move in

Feel free to wear clothes that celebrate your culture

Know that children will be asked to leave their socks and shoes safely in a cubby by the studio entrance

Parents are welcome to stay with kids or attend a One Art campus tour

Kids age 3-6 years old will be in session from 3:00-3:45 pm

Kids ages 7-10 years old will be in session from 3:45-4:30 pm
