The Delta Sonics, one of Colorado’s most celebrated blues bands, will take the stage with their electrifying blend of Chicago blues, swing, Delta grit, and New Orleans R&B. A six-time Westword “Best Blues Band” winner and a semi-finalist in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, the Delta Sonics are powered by frontman Al Chesis—a harmonica powerhouse and Colorado Blues Society Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. With Bob Pellegrino on slide guitar, Alissa Chesis on bass, and Stefan Flores on drums, this is a rhythm section built to groove.
