Join us for a full-day immersive celebration of rhythm, sound, and connection at the Resonance Room.
Rhythm & Resonance: Schlagwerk Experience Day brings together the expressive world of hand percussion and the meditative depth of sound healing through the innovative instruments of Schlagwerk Percussion. Whether you're a seasoned percussionist, a sound practitioner, or simply curious, this is an amazing opportunity to explore, learn, and experience these instruments in a deeply hands-on way.

About our Guests:
Vincent Pierce Smith is a multi-instrumentalist, dance accompanist, compost, and teacher. He has toured internationally and performed at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and NJPAC amongst many other renowned venues. He received his Bachelor's degree in Music from Rutgers University and is currently the music coordinator for Mason Gross School of the Arts Dance Department. Vincent has endorsed Schlagwerk Percussion since 2011 and uses their wide variety of percussion and sound therapy instruments in many different genres of music and movement practice accompaniment. As a long time teacher, Vincent enjoys teaching and spreading musical knowledge by using multi-cultural instruments and styles to encourage communication, understanding, and acceptance through the language of music.
Rosie Lazroe is a practitioner and teacher of sound therapy and yogic healing practices. She has been studying the ancient teachings of yoga and sacred sound for three decades, and has studied with renowned yoga and reiki masters, ayurvedic practitioners, and sound healers, from Europe, India, and the USA, including Globe Institute Sound and Consciousness Program in Sausulito, CA and Kripalu Center for Yoga in the Berkshires of MA. Rosie founded Bountiful Blessings Yoga, Reiki, & Sound in 2018, whereby she has trained and mentored hundreds of students throughout the mid-Atlantic. Her teaching style incorporates sound healing, music theory, human consciousness work, and ancient yogic tools. Rosie offers trainings at various institutions including her studio at the Center for Integrative Healing in Chatham, NJ.
