Creative Space Dance is an organization committed to cultivating an inclusive, supportive, and empowering environment for dancers of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities. Rooted in the foundation of hip-hop culture and movement, our mission is to provide high-quality training that not only develops technical dance skills but also nurtures creativity, confidence, and personal expression. We aim to uplift and inspire dancers by creating a space where artistry, individuality, and passion for dance are celebrated and encouraged.

What to EXPECT:

Warm-up & Conditioning

Classes usually start with a warm-up to loosen muscles, improve flexibility, and get your body in rhythm. This may include grooves, light cardio, and basic foundational movements.

Foundations & Technique

You’ll learn core hip hop styles and fundamentals like grooves, isolations (moving one body part at a time), footwork, and musicality—how to match your movements to the beat and lyrics.

Choreography

The instructor teaches a short routine step-by-step, often set to popular hip hop or R&B tracks. You’ll build the choreography in sections, then practice it as a full piece.

Style & Performance

Beyond just the steps, you’ll work on confidence, attitude, and expression—key elements that bring hip hop to life.

Community & Vibe

Classes are typically supportive and judgment-free, encouraging individuality and growth. It’s as much about having fun and connecting as it is about learning.
