Rhys Wynne-Jones, also known as the "mystery Nightchurch pianist", went viral on social media after playing Bohemian Rhapsody start to finish at St. Mary's Church in January 2024 when he was homeless.
After being featured on BBC News, ITV West Country, Cornwall Live and BBC Radio Cornwall, Rhys organised a special concert at the church in response to his newfound fame, raising almost £2000 for Nightchurch Penzance, an organisation that helps vulnerable and homeless people.
Since then he has gone from strength to strength performing at venues across Cornwall including The Hall for Cornwall and the fabulous Truro Cathedral! His current fundraising total stands at £10,000 which has supported local homeless and mental health charities that are close to his heart.
Rhys believes in using his talents to help others, regardless of his own personal circumstances. His other talents include fire circus skills and morris dancing as well as writing, arranging and singing his own music. He can read music, play by ear and has perfect pitch.
You can expect an evening of stories, laughter and music ranging from classical, to musicals, TV themes and rock!
Rhys will be supported by the amazing youth vocal trio "Kessenyan"
Tickets are on a 'pay as you feel basis - all proceeds going to charity!
