RHYS LEWIS

Oxfordshire-born singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rhys Lewis has built an international following through emotionally candid songs, a richly soulful voice and a sound spanning contemporary pop, folk, blues and classic songwriting.

Lewis emerged in 2016 with Waking Up Without You, before songs including No Right to Love You, Things You Can’t Change and Better Than Today brought him a rapidly growing streaming audience and a deal with Decca Records. His analogue-recorded debut album, Things I Chose to Remember, followed in 2020, exploring relationships, mental health and self-discovery with warmth and striking emotional directness.

His second album, Corner of the Sky, arrived in 2023, broadening his musical palette through songs shaped by solitude, uncertainty and the search for a more authentic life. Lewis has since entered a new independent phase, producing his 2025 EP Stranger alone in his East London studio and paring his music back to a skeletal, folk-rooted sound.

Alongside headline tours in the UK and Ireland, Lewis has performed internationally and supported artists including Julia Michaels and Eric Nam. His songs have accumulated hundreds of millions of streams and appeared in television series including Grey’s Anatomy, Love Island and All American.

At the centre of his work is an ability to give shape to experiences that are difficult to express: heartbreak, hope, loneliness and the gradual process of learning who we are.

MATILDA FINN FRANCES

Matilda Finn Frances is an artist whose sound resonates with the gentle introspection of a life lived on the periphery, observing and reflecting on the world around her. Arriving on the South West’s music scene at the end of last year, her beguiling voice and haunting melodies have been doing all the talking, leaving audiences (and rumour has it, record labels) spellbound. Early support from Steve Lamaq and Jo Whiley will no doubt make Matilda one to watch for the near future.
