It is that time of year again!
As many of you know, mom (Rhonda) faithfully attended the American Cancer Society’s Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk every Fall since her original diagnosis in 2005. Over the years, many family members and friends walked alongside her at these events to celebrate the indescribable strength and perseverance she displayed throughout her cancer journey. Since 2020, we have switched gears to a walk of our own on the Rail-Trail at Britton Road Park. Two months after mom passed on 8/15/2021, the walk became a way for us to remember her courageous fight while allowing us to continue raising funds for the fight against breast cancer - one of mom’s greatest passions. There is no doubt in our minds that mom beams with pride when we walk one of her favorite spots, especially as we gather around the bench dedicated to the trail in her memory. We would be honored if you could join us to do it again on Saturday, October 11, 2025 beginning at 9am - at the Britton Road Park. Raffles and other fundraising opportunities will begin at 8:30am. We know mom will be with us in spirit! Wear lots of PINK. We hope you can join us! Choosing JOY for you always, mom. We love and miss you dearly!
