The garden at Rhodds Farm has been developed since 2005 by Cary Goode, a professional garden designer. It sits between a hillside of 13 acres of woodland to the north and pasture to the south with far reaching views to the Malvern Hills and Black Mountains, aiming to have no solid boundaries between the landscape on either side. As featured on Gardeners’ World in September 2023, it has an extensive range of interesting trees and shrubs with large areas of mixed shrubs, roses and perennials, wild-flower meadows, hot-coloured borders, a gravel garden, a formal garden with a dovecote built in 2007 that houses white doves, a steep bank of Mediterranean style planting, three ponds and a small arboretum. This is a natural garden which fits well within its setting and was described in a Country Life article as ‘a romantic, timeless garden’.
