The Rhizomes emerged in 2019 from a conversation in a Chester Park alley. We have been rocking out in neighborhood basements and local venues ever since. Our musical vibe is singer-songwriter storytelling with off-ramps into power pop and the occasional punky side eye. Emily’s songs explore how not to be a jerk amidst planetary and existential crisis, as well as offering practical advice on relationships, travel planning and much more!The Rhizomes are: Emily Gaarder (vocals, guitar, keys); Chris Handsone (bass); David Clark (drums).
Climes is a musical project of singer/songwriter Drew Anderson.
