Rhett Miller is a longtime singer-songwriter best known as the frontman of Old 97’s, with a career spanning more than three decades and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the 2025 Americana Awards. Alongside his work with the band, he’s released eight solo albums, most recently A lifetime of riding by night (2025), and has built a broader creative career as a writer, podcast host, and occasional film performer. He also teaches songwriting, leads workshops and retreats, and continues to create across music and storytelling while living in New York with his family.
