For the first time ever, AbelCine will be offering Resolve RG101 in a new, hybrid format in Brooklyn. Tickets will be made available for both an in-person class experience, as well as a virtual class experience accessible via Zoom. When purchasing your ticket, please be sure to select the appropriate option – (AbelCine NY if opting for in-person, Virtual if opting for Zoom.) Instructor: Warren Eagles
In-person class attendees will receive the same class experience as always, featuring one-on-one time with the instructor and a workstation to follow along with.
Virtual remote attendees will receive access to the Zoom broadcast of the classroom, and will be able to ask questions of the instructor via the in-platform chat system.
Both Virtual and In-Person attendees will get access to the class media files as well as a copy of the Zoom session recording. Please note: if you attend in person or have your camera on in the virtual session, your likeness may be captured in this recording.
This class is an excellent introduction to coloring with DaVinci Resolve. It is ideal for first time users and you do not need any experience to attend. It is important when learning any software to learn the correct way, that will then form a great foundation going forward. Class size is normally capped at ten students. Each student gets to work at their own workstation.
The class mixes the operational side of Resolve with real world workflows and problems. The aim is to get you to a standard where you can color a real job. It is run at a relaxed pace, questions are encouraged and group participation is a key part of the course.
