What is Rex Manning Day? In the 1995 movie, Empire Records, former teen heartthrob, and washed up 80's pop singer, Rex Manning is scheduled to do an autograph signing of his new release, "Back with More", featuring the single, "Say No More (Mon Amor)" at independent record store, Empire Records, in Delaware on April 8th. Lucas, AJ, Gina, Corey, Deb, Marc, Eddie and Berko are the beautiful, little, tattooed, gum-chewing freaks who work there.
All day on the 8th, we will be playing the music of Empire Records, including the vinyl soundtrack, as well as songs in the movie, not on the soundtrack, like Dire Straits- Romeo and Juliet.
Plus, Dan is making cupcakes, because as Corey's dad says, there are 24 usable hours in everyday.
