Rewind 2025 is thrilled to announce that The Boomtown Rats, one of Ireland’s most iconic and influential rock bands, will join the spectacular lineup for 2025. Known for their raw energy, thought-provoking lyrics, and a legacy that transcends decades, The Boomtown Rats will light up both St Anne’s Park, Dublin on June 1st and Virgin Media Park, Cork on June 21st.
This year’s shows promises to be the ultimate throwback experience, featuring beloved names from the 80s and beyond. Get ready to groove to hits from pop sensation Tiffany, Irish favourites Boyzlife, new wave star Toyah, charismatic crooner Matt Goss (Bros), and the ever-stylish ABC, plus Something Happens, Jerry Fish and more. But it doesn’t stop there!
Each city will host a unique headliner to close out the night with a bang. In Dublin, the legendary Billy Ocean will keep the good vibes flowing with his timeless hits, while Cork fans will be treated to a phenomenal performance by the iconic Squeeze!
