About this Event

Rewilding is an important form of environmental restoration where indigenous plant species are reintroduced to an area to improve biodiversity and beautify local parks and open spaces.

Council is committed to creating opportunities where residents can meet, socialise and give back to the local environment and we would love for you to take part. Since the launch of Darebin’s Rewilding program in 2020, over 300,000 plants have been planted all over Darebin!

Please join us and come along and learn about indigenous plants and species, meet with members of your local community and our passionate Parks Officers and respond to the climate emergency with us.
