91.1 The Avenue presents Revolver at 60: A Beatles Celebration! – a one-night event marking the 60th anniversary of The Beatles’ iconic 1966 album Revolver.
Often cited as the album where The Beatles stopped being just a great band and became true studio innovators, Revolver changed what popular music could be. On May 15, you’ll hear it brought to life live, cover to cover, in a performance the band themselves never attempted.
Led by Steve March-Tormé and Michael Murphy, Revolver at 60 recreates this landmark album in its entirety, followed by a superbly curated selection of Beatles songs from the band’s non-touring, studio years—music that pushed boundaries and continues to influence artists today.
They are joined by an all-star ensemble featuring Chris Felts, Greg McMonagle, Kurt Shipe, Dale Shipe, Ken Skitch, Joe Slyzelia, Mike Underwood, and the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra String Quartet, with special guests Michael Grabner, Kurt Gunn, and Hillary Reynolds.
It’s a rare chance to hear this historic music brought to life by the artists who shape The Avenue’s sound every day—celebrating not just a legendary album, but the depth of musical talent in our own community.
