REVOLVED – a five-year story written by Georgian artists working in Georgia and Germany – a cosmic journey of experience and reflection. The book brings together personal stories, fragments of history, reflections, and poetic expressions written for the newspaper Three Hundred Sixty-Five between 2021 and 2025. Within a shared historical frame, the book gathers parallel movements – personal, political, and artistic.
The book is a time capsule where the authors speak through different media and from diverse positions. Yet, they are united by a clear impulse: not to forget, to observe, and to translate experience into different forms.
REVOLVED brought together Georgian artists living in Germany, thus building an additional bridge between artists of the same nationality working across the two countries.
The editors of REVOLVED have been publishing an annual ink-on-paper newspaper named Three Hundred Sixty-Five, where every year Georgian artists working across different disciplines contribute texts and share their working processes and inner states with the reader.
From the 235 texts written by 140 artists over the course of five years, the pieces were carefully curated for the book according to this very principle: they address both personal creative states and local or global contexts, while also forming connections with one another, together creating the complex and intricate, yet diverse and ultimately unified mosaic of Three Hundred Sixty-Five.
