Join us for a special evening to celebrate the launch of Revolutions Are Made of Love, a powerful new children’s book that honors the activism and legacies of James and Grace Lee Boggs!

This event is more than a book launch — it’s a celebration of art, history, and the people who help shape the world we want to live in. It is a culmination of Leslie Barlow's year worth of research, paintings, and dreams of becoming a children's book illustrator. We’re honored to host this gathering in Leslie's studio at the University of Minnesota, 879 29th Ave SE. The night will feature a reading from the authors Sun Yung Shin and Mélina Mangal and an exhibition of Leslie’s original illustrations on paper. Books signings available upon request!
