Travel back in time to the Revolutionary War on Saturday, May 18th (10am-5pm) and Sunday, May 19th (10am-4pm). Pennypacker Mills will transform into a military encampment, much like the one that was here in 1777. This FREE, family-friendly event will feature something for everyone! History lovers can look forward to dozens of reenactors portraying soldiers and camp followers, firing demonstrations, fife and drum musicians, dragoon demonstrations, and presentations for guest lecturers. There will be crafts and activities for children, including a recruitment drill led by reenactors. Special features this year include the Regimental Brewmeister, a display from the AWI Privateer Museum, and music from Charlie Zahm (Sunday only). Food and beer will be available for purchase. Parking and admission are FREE!
