Walk through a piece of history and discover how the Revolutionary War was fought, how soldiers lived, and the history of the Vermillion Valley during this pivotal year, 1776!!
Saturday, September 27, and Sunday, September 28
The historical encampment will be open for visitors to tour, fashion shows, drills and demonstrations will available throughout the day from 10am-4pm. The reenactment will feature a battle at 3:30 each day.
Sunday, September 28 Only
A highlight on Sunday will be Pioneer Craft Day in the Homestead Cabin area. Activities such as cider pressing and rail splitting will be demonstrated and children may dip candles to take home. There will be fry bread to sample. Period craftspeople will be set up on the lawn around the log cabin. Events will run from 10am-4pm.
