Join us for "Revive Your Voice," a workshop by L.A. Mitchell designed specifically for women. This workshop will help you rekindle your passion for singing, revitalize your voice, and rediscover the joy of singing songs you love.

Meet Your Workshop Leader
L.A. Mitchell (Lauren Barus) is a professional musician and educator in Ōtautahi Christchurch. With a rich musical background, Lauren has performed in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Dubai, and the U.K. She has taught contemporary voice at Auckland University and Ara Music Arts in Christchurch and teaches contemporary voice and songwriting at the University of Canterbury.
Lauren's impressive career includes being a member of the supergroup Fly My Pretties and sharing the stage with renowned artists like Dave Dobbyn, Tim Finn, and Bic Runga. She's opened for legends such as Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, and INXS. Lauren also collaborates with her husband in the duo Terrible Sons, a finalist in the Best Folk Artist award at the 2024 AMA Awards.
