As a part of Sydney Craft week we will be offering a new workshop! Bring new life to a loved garment with indigo dye. Join in this fun communal dyeing day with indigo. In this two-part workshop, you will learn some basics of shibori tying techniques and then get to dip your item into the beautiful blue indigo dye bath. It’s magic when you remove your piece from the bath and watch it change from green to blue as the indigo oxidises in the air – the next piece of magic occurs when you undo your shibori to reveal your individual patterning.
