Calling all English GCSE students and literature lovers! DTC’s acclaimed production of this Victorian classic arrives in Aylesbury.1888. Victorian London is under attack. Within the thick Fitzrovia fog and dimly lamp-lit streets lurks an evil predator. Unprovoked, a young child is attacked and beaten by a mystery man. Who is this "sneering Satan"?
Meanwhile, obsessed with the "Good and evil duality of man" the upstanding Dr Henry Jekyll determines to prove his theories through dangerous experimentation.
"Supernatural, transcendental balderdash!" exclaims his long-time sparring partner and traditional man of science, Dr Hastie Lanyon.
When their mutual friend Gabriel Utterson learns of the mysterious Mr Hyde, he commits his lawyer's logic to the proceedings.
