This is a public invitation. No reservations required to attend. We hope you will join us in celebrating SLC's beloved co-founder Rev. Michael Moran. All are welcome to his Celebration of Life.UPDATED DETAILS AS OF APRIL 28, 2024
Join Spiritual Life Center (SLC) and the Interfaith Community of Sacramento as we celebrate the life of SLC’s co-founder Rev. Michael Moran and his profound contribution to Unity through peace and understanding of people of all faith traditions.
The service will be officiated by Rev. Richard Burdick, and will include music by the SLC Choir and Music Ministry.
LOCATION
All are invited to Rev. Michael Moran's Celebration of Life at Westminster Presbyterian Church at 13th Street & N Street on Saturday, May 4th beginning at 2 pm. There will be a reception at Westminster following the service.
PARKING INFORMATION - PLEASE ALLOCATE TIME TO FIND PARKING DOWNTOWN
There is only paid street parking around Westminster Presbyterian Church so you can also choose a parking garage. Westminster is at 13th and N Streets. A few city blocks away at 1500 10th Street is a parking garage that costs a flat rate of $3 per car to park.
There is also the Capitol Garage which costs $5 per car at 10th and L Street which is a pleasant walk through the Capitol Park to get to Westminster Presbyterian Church. Whichever option you choose, please allocate ample time to find public parking and to walk to 13th and N Street to Westminster.

The service will be livestreamed to Spiritual Life Center's YouTube channel and recorded for those who want to watch online as well. Thank you all who have reached out asking how you can help or be of service for Michael's Celebration of Life.
As you can imagine, Michael touched so many people's lives and different groups outside of our SLC community are helping coordinate details of his celebration service.
SLC Music Director Paula Mandella is point-person from SLC and actively involved in coordinating the music, program, and AV technical support for livestream which is being provided by Cameron Lawson and Ira Mandella.
Spiritual Life Center has provided the insurance rider for the venue, and is covering the reformating and printing costs for the program.
DONATIONS WELCOMED
If you would like to help offset SLC's direct costs associated with Michael's celebration of life, we would gladly accept contributions in Memory of Michael Moran.
You can make your donation here on Eventbrite or at SLC at the HUB or use the easy click donation on our home page. If using website donation button at top right hand corner of website, please add instruction letting us know that the PayPal donation is In Memory of Michael.
Any donations collected that exceed SLC's direct expenses will go to continue to fund Spiritual Life Center which was co-founded by Faith and Michael Moran.
