In times of uncertainty and turmoil, it can help to look back in order to move forward. Rev. Megan Lloyd Joiner invites us to explore the values and beliefs of our Unitarian Universalist forebears in order to reconnect with our spiritual and ethical foundations.

REV. MEGAN LLOYD JOINER is an ordained Unitarian Universalist minister and a board-certified chaplain. A life-long Unitarian Universalist, she is a member of the Unity Chapel, Inc. Board of Trustees in Spring Green, Wisconsin. Megan served as the Chaplain and Chair of Religious Studies at Woodward Academy in Atlanta, GA from 2022-2025.
Megan is a certified Cognitively-Based Compassion Training instructor with Emory University. She holds a bachelor's degree in religious studies from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT and a Masters of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in New York City, with additional training at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Emory University Spiritual Health, and the Emory Compassion Center.
Megan served congregations in Connecticut for nearly a decade before moving in 2019 to Atlanta where she now lives with her husband and their two daughters, ages 11 and 5.
