ABOUT STACY: Stacy’s yoga journey began in secondary school when her mother introduced her to Wherever You Go, There You Are. While working at a yoga studio during college, Stacy’s curiosity about the deeper aspects of teaching yoga grew. In 2020, she took the leap and enrolled in yoga teacher training. Her journey continued in 2022 with a trip to Nepal for meditation training, where she learned the art of quieting the mind and separating emotions from reactions. Stacy embodies her practice through meditation, and she shares with her students that yoga is far more than asana; it is a daily practice, woven into every task, embodying a lifestyle of mindfulness

ABOUT 618: 618 has been a cherished space for DC’s underground dance music scene for over a decade. This two-story venue has hosted a diverse array of DIY collectives, all united in their mission to showcase the best of the DMV’s music talent. The next generation of creatives has stepped forward to guide 618 into its next phase. Looking ahead, we see 618 as more than just a nighttime destination We plan to open the space during the day for photo and video production, art installations, thrift markets, and various creative initiatives-- an expansion aimed at nurturing the diversity of art forms represented in our local community.
