Join us as we celebrate the return of evening daylight during this $5 community sit spot gathering in the forest of Ken-O-Sha Park! ☀️Our community sit spot gatherings focus on coming together and enjoying the peace of nature through our powers of observation, with an opening circle to introduce ourselves, a brief centering practice led by Katie to help you calm your mind, and 20 minutes to enjoy a solo "sit spot" invitation in the forest.
A sit spot is a core forest bathing invitation for reducing stress and reconnecting to nature, while offering us the chance to fine-tune our awareness of the changing seasons too. We will keep the time for you so that you can set your phone or time piece aside and simply relax.
We'll end with a closing community circle and an opportunity to share what we each noticed in our unique evening experiences.
