RetroCon Canada is a glimpse into the past of 8-bit Video Games, Silver Age Super-Heroes, Saturday Morning Cartoons, and much more.The ultimate destination to celebrate Retro Pop Culture and Old-School Fun.
RetroCon is a one-day event taking place on Saturday, November 26th. It is taking over 19,500+ Square Feet of the Hamilton Convention Centre, making this event one of the largest retro events in Ontario.
Special guests, vendors, vehicles, comic artists, cosplayers, magic and pokemon tournaments, and exclusive panel sessions are all part of the RetroCon Canada experience.
This year we are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of ATARI and the 45th Anniversary of STAR WARS and Building Disney with Disney Legend and Imagineer Bob Gurr.
DAY EVENT
Our day event consists of vendors, experiences and guests for you to encounter this holiday season. Star Wars and Atari guests will make a special appearance along with the man in the big red suit.
Tickets start at $17.50 for an adult and are FREE for Children.
NO TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR.
SPECIAL EVENING EVENT (a separately ticketed event)
STAR WARS fans will unite to celebrate 45 Years of a Galaxy Far Far Away alongside Angus MacInnes (Gold Leader), and Garrick Hagon (Biggs Darklighter - RED 3) live on stage. Fans will hear stories from the set and learn what it was like to be part of the iconic saga 45 years later.
In conjunction with the 45th Anniversary of Star Wars -
ATARI fans from across Ontario and over the border will unite to celebrate 50 Years of the iconic ATARI Corporation, which helped shape the video game industry into what it is today. Join Atari Developers Warren Robinett, David Crane Live on stage, and Howard Scott Warshaw (Virtually) as we discuss everything Atari, from its triumphs to tragedies.
