Synopsis: Lubo est un nomade, un musicien de rue qui, en 1939, est appelé dans l'armée suisse pour défendre les frontières du pays contre le risque d'une invasion allemande. Peu après, il apprend que sa femme est morte en tentant d'empêcher les gendarmes d'emmener leurs trois jeunes enfants qui, en tant que Yenisch, ont été retirés à leur famille dans le cadre du programme national de rééducation des "enfants de la route" (Hilfswerk für die Kinder der Landstrasse). Lubo sait qu'il ne connaîtra jamais la paix tant qu'il n'aura pas récupéré ses enfants et obtenu justice pour son histoire et celle de tous les outsiders comme lui.

Synopsis: Lubo is a nomad, a busker who in 1939 is called up to the Swiss army to defend the country’s borders against the risk of a German invasion. Shortly afterward he finds out that his wife has died in the attempt to stop the gendarmes from taking away their three small children, who, as Yenisch, have been removed from their family as part of the national program of reeducation for “children of the road” (Hilfswerk fu¨r die Kinder der Landstrasse). Lubo knows that he will never have peace until he gets his children back and gets justice for his story and that of all outsiders like himself.
