Mitch Preston has hung up his APS spurs and swapped mind-numbing meetings and spreadsheets for sleeping in, losing track of the days of the week and heaps more gigs.Come to Smith's Alternative on Sunday 21 July to help Mitch celebrate his new-found retiree status. His musician friends are encouraged to bring guitars, basses, voices, saxomaphones, keyboards, drumsticks etc. to jam accordingly. The Smith's PA, backline kit and amps will be available for use (picky [pun intended] guitarists may want to bring their 'special' amps). There will be no cover charge, but attendees will be frequently encouraged to keep the bar busy and to sample the splendid comestibles available. Drummers must be accompanied by an adult.
