I’m hoping it’s okay to post this here.
My son Christopher and I both have Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), a rare inherited eye condition that causes progressive sight loss. Living with the reality of losing our vision is incredibly challenging, but instead of letting it define us, we’re trying to make a difference.
On Saturday 12th September 2026, I’m hosting a Charity Ball at the New Continental Hotel in Plymouth in aid of Retina UK, raising money for vital research into inherited retinal conditions.
The evening will include a welcome drink, three-course meal, entertainment, raffle, auction and fundraising activities, all while supporting an amazing cause.
Tickets are £50 per person and everyone is welcome. Whether you’re looking for a great night out, want to support a local family, or simply help raise money for an important cause, we’d love to see you there.
