Join members of the Midland's Regional Forum in person at Voluntary Action Leicestershire for a day of community conversations around mental health in the Midlands. This event is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals passionate about community engagement and mental health.

Come ready to share your ideas, learn from others, and collaborate on ways to make a positive impact in the Midlands region. Let's rethink the way we engage with our communities together!

Info: Join us from 10.30am to have the opportunity to grab a cuppa and settle in ahead of the event starting at 11am. Aphra Tulip-Briggs, Vice-Chair of Rethink Board of Trustees will kick the event off with a warm welcome at 11am.

Info: We will be joined by Charlene Marks, Head of Mental Health and Money Advice, who will talk about the government's Welfare Bill and what this means for people affected by mental illness. She will talk about Rethink's campaigning work in this area and we will also have time for a Q&A and general discussion around this important topic.

Info: There will be a range of creative activities for you to take part in, from badge making to arts or poetry.

Info: We'll spend some time in small groups discussing mental health and the Midlands. A chance to share your experiences with others at the event, discussing what support it available across the Midlands, what's working well, what gaps there are and what could make things better.

Info: An opportunity for any final reflections on the day before people head home.
