There is potential for deep healing within each of us. Restorative Yoga offers us an opportunity to access it. Restorative Yoga is a profoundly nourishing and rejuvenating self care practice of conscious relaxation in supported yoga postures.
Building upon the foundations created in the level 1 weekend, this training is designed to further develop understanding and application of subtle body theory and practice to teaching an expanded Restorative Yoga curriculum. This 15hour nourishing and educational experience is suited for new and experienced yoga and somatics teachers as well as body workers, nurses, physical therapists and mental health therapists.
~ Settle into a deeper exploration of basic and advanced restorative yoga asana
~ Discover how restorative yoga practice affects the subtle (energy) body
~ Examine Ayurvedic and 5 Element Theory (Elements, Gunas, Doshas, Meridians, Chakras)
~ Practice 3 Restorative sequences designed to balance doshas and energy flow
~ Take a closer look at the connection between the nervous system and energy body through a restorative yoga lens
~ Weave basic pranayama and sound healing into restorative asana practice
~ Breakout sessions to integrate new knowledge into teaching
~ Receive individual feedback and coaching
~ Teachers earn 15 Yoga Alliance CE hours (13 contact, 2 independent study)

TESTIMONIALS:
“I was immediately comfortable with Kristine's warmth, instruction and candor. If it had to do with deepening her or her students' knowledge and understanding of how to deepen the practice of restorative yoga, she was open to sharing it and to hearing feedback from participants in the training. Nothing was held back- she taught us all the tricks of her trade. The training was rich with well structured information and a good amount of hands-on time in both
level one and two. I feel incredibly fortunate to have learned from someone with so much prior knowledge of not just yoga, but a background in body work, deep understanding of meridians/chakras, anatomy and physiology.
Having trained with Kristine I now have a well-rounded ability to assist my own students in getting the most benefits possible from this incredible practice and a deeper understanding of restorative practice as a whole...
Anyone who gets the opportunity to study with Kristine will find great gifts in her teachings as Kristine is a
great gift to the yoga community.” L.Nash, RYT
