Restorative Yoga for Grief

Restorative Yoga for Grief: This class is open to anyone who has experienced any kind of loss.

This in-person event will be held at 51 W Elliot Rd suite 112. Join us for Restorative yoga & a sharing circle designed to help you feel connected to others with deep grief.

I will guide you through breathwork for grief, Restorative Yoga, and other healing techniques that have supported me during my darkest days and continue to do so. Restorative Yoga emphasizes deep relaxation by using props such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks to fully support the body in gentle poses that involve minimal to zero stretching. These supported poses are held for 10 minutes or more, allowing for the complete release of tension and stress. It is often described as the practice of "non-doing," focusing on stillness and relaxation. There will also be an opportunity for you to share your story if you choose to; we are all connected through loss. I share my personal experience of managing (or the lack of) the loss of my brother to suicide, and how it has affected me. I've learned to keep my heart open and live in the light of his loss, and I want to share those lessons with you.
