About SNAP Volusia:
SNAP Volusia is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based out of DeLand, Florida, dedicated to increasing SNAP access at the Artisan Alley Farmer’s and Maker’s Market. The primary mechanism by which this is achieved is through partnership with Feeding Florida’s Fresh Access Bucks program, which doubles people’s SNAP money for use at local markets. In addition to helping food insecure members of our community to make more nutritious dietary choices, our work also brings more business to local farmers, bread bakers, apiarists, and all the other wonderful food vendors at the market.
