About this Event
Kickstart your week with a soft way to reset your nervous system!
Sliding scale available, please reach out: Call/text 503-659-1212 or email [email protected] to book directly.
Join us for an evening of deeply relaxing meditation and sound bath, with Sound healer Charlie Short. Float North's studio is uniquely tranquil with no windows and no traffic sounds, just soothing tones and melodies.
This low pressure practice is a gentle, trauma-aware sound bath designed to help your nervous system slow down, release tension, and find stillness. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, wired, or stretched thin, this session offers a space to soften.
You’ll be guided into an immersive sound bath using crystal singing bowls, chimes, tranquility harp, and other calming instruments to deepen that sense of being held (in sound).
This is not about fixing yourself or forcing change. It’s about giving your body a chance to settle, recalibrate, and embody a more regulated state.
This session is:
• Trauma-aware and gentle
• Inclusive of all identities and bodies
• Welcoming to both first-timers and experienced participants
• You’re welcome to simply lie down, sit comfortably, and receive.
What to expect:
• Melodic, immersive sound bath
• A calm, low-pressure environment
• Space to rest, soften, and feel held
What to bring:
• Yoga mat or something comfortable to lie on
• Blanket and/or pillow for support
• Water
• Anything that helps you feel at ease
Mats and chairs are available if needed.
You don’t need to push, process everything, or have it all figured out. This is a space to pause, soften, and be held in sound.
