About this Event

As educators, we recognize the urgent need for safer, healthier schools for all of our students. Restorative Practices is a commitment to building and sustaining relationships that fundamentally benefit all members of the community. This training will support you in understanding and confidently using a restorative model within a school setting.

In this intensive, highly interactive day-long training, you'll learn the essential theory, mindset, and components of Restorative Practices. The day will focus on strategies for proactively building relationships, models of discipline and accountability, and processes for restorative conflict resolution. Principals, administrators, and school leaders will have the opportunity to focus on mindset, infrastructure, and practical strategies that will allow Restorative Practices to thrive within their schools.

The training will be led by experienced educators and IIRP-trained facilitators Christel Butchart and Anita Scott Neville.

CEU certificate will be provided by request.

Current university students are welcome to join us at a reduced Student rate. They are not required to attend the school-wide implementation portion of this workshop (on the afternoon of Day 2).
