About this Event
Restorative justice (RJ) is gaining momentum as a transformative approach to addressing a range of harms. This presentation will explore recent developments in RJ, focusing on its application in cases of sexual harm and its potential to foster healing and accountability. While recognising the groundswell of support for RJ, the discussion will also critically examine its limitations and the risks of positioning it as a universal solution. An engagement with both the strengths and limitations of RJ can help situate the practice in the justice landscape.
