Born and raised in Detroit, MI, Lorenzo Sewell endured a tumultuous upbringing marked by abuse, his father's imprisonment, and his younger brother's death, which led him into drug dealing and gang leadership. However, his life transformed on April 18, 1999, during his senior year at Fraser High School, when he experienced a profound spiritual awakening. By January 2019, Lorenzo became the Lead Servant of Evangel Ministries in Detroit, following his tenure as lead pastor at Woodside Bible Church's Pontiac Campus and Director of the Dream Center of Pontiac. As a gifted pastor, he fosters strategic partnerships and builds high-performance teams to drive impactful, gospel-centered initiatives in the region.
