In observance of Juneteenth, The Union for Contemporary Art is honoring the seven forms of rest - physical, mental, emotional, sensory, creative, social, and spiritual – as an act of resistance to grind culture and in celebration of rest as liberation.Inspired by the Nap Ministry and their “Rest as Resistance” framework, RestFest is a curation of activities designed to create a sacred and safe space for community building while centering the Black experience. These events are free and open to the public; no registration is required.

3:30–4:30PM Reading + Crafting in The Garden
