This month we are VERY excited to welcome back a dear friend to the decks! James Johnson has long been a regional fixture in electronic music. He is a prolific techno producer and DJ with decades worth of material being performed by artists all over the world.
What many may not know is that James is also a force to be reckoned with in the drum and bass scene. Under his moniker, Divine, he has a unique mixing style that reflects his techno sensibilities. Never one to forgo cuts and chops, watching and listening to James perform drum and bass is a real treat for the senses!
As always, RESTART DRUM and BASS is free. We do suggest a $5 donation. This money goes exclusively to paying DJ fees. Without your generosity we wouldn't be able to exist outside of a bar scene and we appreciate it! To make things easier, we incorporate a QR code for donations at the door and DJ booth.
Rich Street Records will be open for business during the entire event with freshly stocked wax, including house, techno and jungle/drum and bass.
BYOB - feel free to bring your own beverages. Coolers will be available so you don't have warm drinks!
All ages and family friendly!! Bring your kids if you can't find a sitter and shape their taste with some new records and DJs.
