When being mindful, we simply are making observations of the present moment, around us, and within us.Practicing mindfulness consistently decreases symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, and rumination, improving emotion regulation. It increases positive emotions, relationship satisfaction, self-compassion, compassion, and empathy towards others, improves sleep, allows individuals to cope with pain, and improves working memory and focus.
Mindfulness allows us to have an overall improved quality of life. We all deserve this.
