Jowe Head was a founder member of Swell Maps before joining the Television Personalities. He also performed with The Palookas, The Househunters, Angel Racing Food, Eleventh Hour Adventists, the Demi-Monde, Rude Mechanicals, and Infernal Contraption. His current projects are Swell Maps C21, and Infernal Trinity, who shall feature Ravi Low-Beer, and Catherine Gerbrands at this event.
David Lance Callahan has been a singer, songwriter and instrumentalist best known for work with The Wolfhounds and Moonshake. The Wolfhounds contributed to the C86 cassette (regarded as a pivotal moment for independent music in the UK).
Moonshake subsequently contributed to the development of British post-rock.
Callahan currently records and performs solo singer-songwriter work informed by
folk, blues and experimental sound, describing himself as a "dissonant electric folk singer.โ He has also worked with Swell Maps C21, PJ Harvey, McCarthy,
Stereolab, as musician, producer or collaborator.
Luke Haines has recorded music under various names and with various bands,
including The Auteurs, Baader Meinhof and Black Box Recorder. Haines formed
The Auteurs in 1991, and they were nominated for a Mercury Prize. Soon after,
Haines formed solo side project called Baader-Meinhof named after the German
far-left terrorist group. Haines formed Black Box Recorder with John Moore and
Sarah Nixey. Recently, Haines and Peter Buck, formerly of R.E.M., collaborated on
an album, Beat Poetry for Survivalists, which was released in 2020.
