Tony Stewart, a founding member of the Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations, will deliver the keynote address at a public program at Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 29.
Stewart will share his first-hand experiences promoting safety, unity, and understanding during the rise of the Aryan Nations in North Idaho throughout the 1980s and 1990s — including his role in the landmark trial of Richard Butler.
Come learn, connect, and reflect on how courage and compassion shaped Coeur d’Alene’s story and understand how the community came together to stand against prejudicial hate and protect one another.
