About this Event
Join us for a special in-person, interactive Forum focused on enhancing the energy efficiency and resilience of municipal buildings. California is experiencing more frequent extreme weather events and natural disasters that can cause grid instability and increase the vulnerability of residents. To proactively address these issues, cities and counties are exploring integrated solutions such as energy efficiency and electrification upgrades, solar and battery storage, microgrids, and resilience hubs. These efforts aim to keep municipal facilities operational during outages, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and provide safe spaces for community members during these extreme events. This in-person only event will include:
- Real-world case studies and Q&A with local government staff involved in public resiliency projects
- A Resource Fair featuring available technical assistance and funding to support energy efficiency and resiliency upgrades
- Opportunities to meet and learn from other local government staff working on similar projects
This in-person Forum is free and open to all. Breakfast and coffee will be provided.
