About this Event

Bronzeville is home to a rich music history that transformed the city’s culture and inspired generations of artists. On June 10, you can explore the neighborhood that built Chicago Blues with WBEZ’s Reset and our favorite local historian, Shermann “Dilla” Thomas.

Ride along with Dilla, Reset host Sasha-Ann Simons and architecture contributor Dennis Rodkin to learn about the people and places that shaped the blues soundscape, like the legendary Muddy Waters and the Forum on 43rd Street.

This bus tour is coinciding with the Chicago Blues Festival, happening June 8 through 11 in Millennium Park.

Please note: Unfortunately the tour bus does not have a wheelchair lift. We apologize for the inconvenience.
