Research Outlook 2026: Fresh Research Ideas Shaping

Management and Society

Research Outlook 2026: Fresh Research Ideas Shaping

Management and Society

Presented by HEC Montréal PhD Students

Join us for two evenings of engaging short talks featuring doctoral students from the PhD program at HEC Montréal. During this event, emerging scholars will present fresh research ideas and discuss how their work can influence management practices, technology, organizations, and society.

Each talk is designed to be clear, accessible, and thought-provoking. The goal is not only to share new research topics but also to engage the public and spark reflection on how these ideas may shape the future of business and society.

This event is part of the Effective Science Communication PhD course offered at HEC Montréal by Pierre-Majorique Léger and Sylvain Sénécal, where doctoral students practice communicating complex research in ways that connect with a broader audience.

Across two nights (April 14 and April 15), 10 doctoral students will take the stage to share their ideas and open a conversation with the public.

The conference will be delivered in the language of the PhD students, either French or English.
